to do list

1.4.10 002 

1.  Finish The Lacuna.  (Due January 7 and I haven't even reached page 100.)

2.  Finish Mom's birthday present.  (Due January 2.  Oops.) 

Fortunately, my mama is a very understanding sort.  Besides, she' been traveling for the holidays and isn't even home yet.  Also, both the book and the project are so pleasurable, and my state-of-mind is so unhurried, that I can't bear to rush through either.  If the cost of such enjoyment is a few dollars in library fines...so be it.
