To prepare myself (emotionally) and my family (physically) for the change in location and climate, I got busy with the crochet hook.
Using a warm chocolate mohair and an aqua angora/wool blend, I hooked these hats with love, anticipating changing leaves and falling snow. The baby's hat is from this lovely Alicia Paulson pattern.
I adapted the skater beanie from Azzy's crochet, found free on Ravelry.com, with a pompon and ear flaps, for the toddler. The coordination is irresistible, yes?
